This piece was directly inspired by Jean Michelle Basquiat's "Skull" from 1984.
Created by laying marker, ink, and charcoal my skull is pieced together like the laces of a baseball, representing the curve balls that life undeniably throws at us. By "Thinking" and remaining "Headstrong" we can all accomplish our goals and meet the expectations we have for ourselves.
